A blog post
3 02 2009I did run on Saturday and have been berated for not blogging but my run was pathetic as after .43 of a mile, my Garmin ran out of battery and so I turned round and went home and I didn’t know how far I’d really gone as I didn’t know how long my Garmin had been out of battery before I noticed and when I got home I didn’t have time to blog as I had to get ready to go to a party in the Cotswolds and that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it so there.
Stats:
Distance: .43 miles
Time: 4:04
Pace: 9:29 m/m
Calories: 41
Garmin batteries staying charged: 0
Parties: 1

As excuses go, it’s poor. But it’ll have to do. Now: run more, blog more. And not just about vegetables! Simple.
Oh, and welcome back. Missed you.

Glad your back! I had missed you!
I have not run for two days way too icy and I have got the Sleaford Half in a couple of weeks!!

Oh no! Couldn’t you just keep going sans Garmin?
Good to have your blog to read again though

So do you need the Garmin to validate the fact that you have run or did you just decide to put quality above quantity?

One of the reasons I run is so I can be a geek and upload my data into Sports Tracks, no Garmin, no run.

‘I run so that I can record the details of my run’ has now gone straight into my top 10 list of reasons to run

Well, even if the run wasn’t great, it’s good to have you back blogging

That’s why I have a 305. It has a fantastic battery, wish mine would last as long…
