Juneathon 2010 FAQ

What is it?
It’s a month of exercise. Running, cycling, walking, rowing, weights, whatever. Just do something every day in June.
Then what?
Then blog about it on your blog, on Twitter, or on the Facebook page.
Why?
Because you’re a fat lardy bloater and you need some exercise. Because it’s fun. Or, to quote Highway Kind who sums it up perfectly, it’s ‘an annual festival of activity and excuses’.
Who’s idea was this in the first place?
Joggerblogger is the man to blame.
How long has it been going?
This will be the fourth year.
Who else is doing it?
To view a list of Juneathon 2010 participants, please visit the Juneathon 2010 participants page.
How do I join in?
Post a comment here and say ‘I’m in’ or something.
How do I win?
Juneathon was originally meant to be a month of running, so if you’re the only person to run and blog every day, then you’ll be the winner. If there’s more than one person who runs and blogs every day, then one of those will be the winner. If no one runs and blogs every day, then someone else will win. Yes, I just made that up.
What do I win?
Last year, Eating Trees won a little bronze monkey. This year, Fitness Footwear have kindly offered a pair of Vibram Five Finger Classics to the winner*.
*Legal stuff:
The winner is entitled to choose one pair of Vibram Five Fingers Classic shoes from FitnessFootwear.com. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash. The judge’s decision is final.
Is there a runner’s up prize?
Oh yes. The lucky runner up can choose four compilations from those brilliant people at Audiofuel.

Not heard of this before but I think is perfect for me to give me a target in June. I am currently injured with plantar fascitiis and had planned to be doing Suffolk 5 mile road race series but will cycle and do press up/sit ups as my personal target.
Very Cool. I am in, though training for half marathon, so I will be doing something every day in june i am sure. I love this idea though as meant for fat lardy bloaters! lol! Cheers!

Nice site. I would join the Juneathon but I ruined it by running the Chester Marathon today, so I think the first couple of days of June will be slow for me. Best of luck to all.

Funny enough, started bloggin with wordpress this week and have made daily entries so far. Gave up last time I tried as found site quite complicated. This will spur me on to spend time working out how it all hangs together. Can I be in or am I too late this year? If I’m too late, might carry out my own little Juneathon challenge anyway. Great motivation. Thanks
It’s never too late. Welcome to Juneathon!
(I’ll add your blog to the list later, at work at the mo)
