I walked to the pub, it counts–honest
Dudes, I walked to the pub. I asked on Twitter if it would count and everyone said YES and no one said no, so, HA! I Garmined my walk to the pub.
If it makes you feel any better, it was raining when we left the pub and we had to stand in the road for AGES getting wet while I waited for my Garmin to get a signal.
Meh.
Oh, and I can’t remember who said yes, walking to the pub counts but only if you do a press-up on the bar when you get there, but I did do a press-up. I have photographic evidence and everything.

Juneathons done 2/2
It’s going to be a tough June having to go to the pub and do a press up everyday!
This is my new favourite blog post.
Nobody else would get away with this kind of thing for #juneathon. It’s taking the piss out of all us lot who take our responsibilities a tad more seriously and actually run. Like properly run. In the rain and shit. It’s not big and it’s not clever and nobody’s the slightest bit impressed. (I’m not the slightest bit envious).
I did a press-up! If I wasn’t taking it seriously, I wouldn’t have done a press-up.
I am impressed. Not only by your getting to the pub alive- but that you look so smart despite living in a hedgerow! Look at that photo! 🙂 x
I should check my Twitter feed more often; I would have said No.
On the other hand, “I did a press-up! If I wasn’t taking it seriously, I wouldn’t have done a press-up” might just qualify as the comment of the year…
HA! The bar press-up made me laugh. I may try to remember this whilst in England this month. Perhaps my sister will take a pic of me, at every pub bar we visit? And I will post when I return home, in your honor! Who needs Plank-A-Day when we have Pub-Bar-Press-Up-A-Day!
That is the best idea I’ve heard all day!
