I’m back
Now that my foot was miraculously cured the other day, I thought it was time to get back outside so I went out this morning. Thought I'd just do one lap of the park (it's a very small park) so as not to overdo it and hurt my foot again but went up to the marshes and back instead. I'm not going to win any awards for time or distance but getting back out after two weeks, and especially after two weeks sitting around, going out drinking, eating pizza and being a dirty stop out, is quite an achievement I think.
Didn't see anything interesting though, shame, just that big black bird again, 3 magpies (I hate magpies, I'm soooooooooo p****d off when I see one that I can't concentrate until I see another one and get out of the "one for sorrow" thing) and a couple of horses.
And I'd like to thank the people who comment on here and give me encouragement, especially Joggerblogger who doesn't laugh at my feeble efforts when his short run is about 10m!</oscarmoment>

Glad you managed to get out – but I think that I have caught elephantitis of you, my ankle looks a right puffy mess, so I’m still laid up.
Loving the new look on the blog. While I’m not out running I plan on doing a little bit of work on mine as well.
Unlike you I did see something interesting on my early run the other day,
We have (had) a village bus thing (it looks like a really long van) that takes the old people about. I heard a massive bang, and as I ran around the corner I saw what had caused it.
The bus is always parked in the same place, outside of the drivers house – and somehow a woman had completely not seen it and had driven in to the back of it a full speed, DOHH!!!
I stopped to see if she was ok, her car looked like it had hit a wall because under the back of the van is a winch thing that lift wheel chairs up – ohpps! I imagine the local taxi firms have been raking it in this week J
Thanks JoggerBlogger but I can’t take the credit for the new look, it’s just a WordPress template. I should really tweak it myself but I haven’t looked into that yet and I’ve been concentrating more on the sites I get paid to do 🙂
Hope your ankle gets better soon. I thought running would be cheap and easy, just get some trainers and go out. Little did I know that I’d be spending loads of gadgets and spend a lot of time being injured! I think I’m a weed, I only go 3 miles or so 🙁
Glad to hear that your well 🙂
I think that the blogger blog was down last night – I think it allowed you to post but then managed to auto delete them 🙂
