My knee’s been playing up since my last run on Saturday so have been resting, ibuprofening and icing all week.
I’ll attempt a run on Saturday and am out for pizza and Belgian beer tonight so maybe that will help 😉

I’m not sure, I think last night’s wine may have cancelled out any pizza and beer special powers from Thursday.
Me and my mate made a pledge on Thursday that we’re going to give up pizza for a month. Oops! What did I do that for?
LOL! I take it that pledge was made when you all had a belly full of pizza and beer 🙂 At least you have only got 28 days to go…

This time in 4 weeks I’ll be eating pizza for lunch. The pledge is until after the race on 23 September which I think is 4 weeks today?
I’m also giving up chocolate until then and my mate’s giving up cider.
If either of us fail then we have to forego any alcohol for a month, eek!
I’m going to run out of things to give up soon 😉

Preston and I are thinking of doing a lunchtime Ultramarthon soon – Not the 100 miles of a normal one. We have come up with the genius idea of the PizzaHut all you can eat buffet menu (he has a record of 15 slices) then a 10K run after. I think it’s a You Tube moment in the making 😛 All we now is a sponsorship deal.
